how can you support the work of extend-a-family?
Extend-A-Family is able to do this important work because of funding from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, the City of Toronto, and donors. We place great value on the importance of being good stewards of the funds received. A charitable tax receipt is provided for all donations.
Donors have the option of donating to a general fund where the funds are used for the overall work of Extend-A-Family or to donate to the Cate Downey / Micheal Houghton Memorial Fund.
The Cate Downey / Micheal Houghton fund is a dedicated fund used solely to assist families with one time needs to help bridge opportunities for their young person with a disability to be meaningful involved and to participate in valued roles in their community.
Donations can be made by:
